The names of the four prospective bishops who will be consecrated for the Society of Saint Pius X in July were announced on May 26th.
According to FSSPX News, the priests are:
- Father Pascal Schreiber, of Swiss nationality;
- Father Michael Goldade, of American nationality;
- Father Michel Poinsinet de Sivry, of French nationality;
- Father Marc Hanappier, of French nationality.
Fr. Pagliarani, Superior-General of the SSPX writes,
The Superior General reaffirms that the choice and consecration of these elects do not proceed from any desire to claim a power of jurisdiction or to establish a parallel authority within the Church. In no way do they constitute a denial of, refusal of, or challenge to the supreme, full, and immediate power of jurisdiction of the Vicar of Christ over the universal Church.
The ceremony of July 1st will have no other purpose than to ensure the continued administration of the sacraments of Holy Orders and Confirmation, together with those sacramentals reserved to bishops, according to the traditional rite of the Holy Roman Church and the immemorial Faith.
The episcopacy to be received by these priests is therefore conceived solely as a service rendered to souls and to the Church amid this unprecedented crisis of the Faith.

A report on the future bishops from LifeSiteNews noted that all four men hail from large families:
” … Fr. Schreiber was one of five children, Fr. Poinsinet de Sivry one of seven, while Fr. Goldade and Fr. Hanappier come from families with ten siblings.”

Please continue (or begin) to pray the official Prayer for these future bishops.
To be recited daily from 8 May, the feast of Our Lady Mediatrix of All Graces, until 1 July 2026, the feast of the Precious Blood of Our Lord.
Almighty and Eternal God, Who willest that all men should come to salvation and to the knowledge of the truth, Thou Whose Spirit sanctifieth and governeth the whole Body of the Church, we humbly beseech Thee, through the intercession of Our Lady Mediatrix of All Graces, to provide for the needs of Thy Church by pouring out upon Thy elect the abundance of Thy grace.
May there shine forth in them the steadfastness of faith, the purity of charity, and the sincerity of peace.
May their speech and their preaching rest, not upon the persuasive language of human wisdom, but upon the Spirit and the power of God.
Tireless in external labour, may they preserve within themselves the fervour of the Spirit; may they hate pride, may they love humility and truth, never betraying it under the pressure of praise or of fear.
May they not make of darkness light, nor of light darkness; may they not call good evil, nor evil good.
May they be at the service of the wise as of the foolish, of the learned as of the ignorant, that they may gather the fruit of the progress of all.
Multiply upon them Thy blessing and Thy grace, so that, filled with godliness by Thy gift, they may at all times fruitfully implore Thy divine mercy.
Through Our Lord Jesus Christ Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.
