Pax Orbis (peace of the world) began in 2021 in response to Our Lady’s request for the messages of Fatima to be disseminated widely. Our first witness was on October 7, 2021, the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, at which we joined hundreds of Catholics outside St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Melbourne, praying for the intention of having our churches reopened.
This was followed by several public witnesses during Melbourne’s famous anti-lockdown protests, when we joined those taking a statue of Our Lady through the crowds, to inject a spiritual dimension into those tumultuous events.
We were edified and humbled by the respect which was often paid to Our Lady by our fellow protesters.

Once the lockdowns ended, Pax Orbis organised a small number of Catholics, to continue public prayer by holding First Saturday rosaries in the heart of Melbourne. We were later given permission to hold those rosaries in the grounds of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, until the Men’s Rosary took over in March 2023.

The work of Pax Orbis then expanded to involvement in pro-life work; we’re involved in various annual events, including World Day Against Abortion.
In early 2025, we began to focus on spiritual formation for Catholics involved in pro-life work.
Now, in late 2025, Pax Orbis has expanded to report on current affairs, viewed through the lens of the message of Fatima.
Please pray for the success of our mission: pro vita, pro sanctitudine – ‘for life, for holiness’ and now, pro veritate, ‘for truth’.
